Concrete wall cladding

Four families, one finish

Cast concrete panels for walls. Relief, interlocking and engraved, in four families that look nothing like each other.

Roman 3D Impressions is the largest, seven patterns in eleven sizes, from a four inch Wedge up to the eighteen inch panels. Floways is three organic shapes that flow together. M3LD is three relief panels, all twenty inches square. The Echo Series is flat and engraved, and the only one of the four that goes underfoot as well as on the wall.

Hand cast in our Gardena facility from durable, fiber reinforced concrete. Every one of the four is made in solid concrete colors, and every one of them comes in a single finish.

Roman 3D Impressions

Seven patterns, eleven sizes

3D Concrete Impressions add dimensionality to your verticality.

Six of the seven come in a large panel and a small one, so a pattern can run a whole elevation or pick out a single band of it. The drawings show the pattern. The sizes are in the tables.

Floways, Old California, Hacienda, Bone, Rice and Early Gray

Floways

Three shapes, that flow together

Interlocking shapes for walls, three quarters of an inch thick.

Three organic shapes that flow together, sold as a set or as single models. Nothing in the family is square, so a Floways wall has no grid in it and no run of aligned joints.

The Three Piece Set

Coverage
One set per square foot
Weight per set

Assembled, the set sits inside a bounding square of about fifteen and five eighths inches. That is larger than the ground it covers, because none of the three shapes is a rectangle. The coverage figure above is the one to order from.

Echo Series, Charcoal

Echo Series

Flat and engraved, walls or floors

A flat engraved surface with square edges and corners, one inch thick.

Echo is the one family here that is not only for walls. It is the same engraved pattern in four sizes, and it reads differently on a twenty four inch tile than on an eight inch one.

The four are the same tile at four sizes, so reading them as a range is more useful than reading them as a list.

Installed

On the wall, and in the room

Interiors and exteriors, across the four families.

Color and finish

Solid color, one finish

All four families are made in solid concrete colors, and all four are made in a single finish.

That is the one thing this collection does not ask you to choose. The pattern is the decision. Everything else about the surface is settled before it is cast.

Standard, the form finish

The face the mould gives. It varies from item to item and does not need to be specified. Some items may feature rough or textured surfaces already, while others may have a smooth, flat surface.

The concrete palette

These are the solid concrete colors these four families are made in. Order the ones you are considering and hold them against the wall they will sit on.

The material

Cast by hand, pattern and all

The relief comes out of the mould. It is not worked into the face afterwards, which is why the finish is not a choice.

  • Hand Cast

Cast by hand in our Gardena facility from durable, fiber reinforced concrete, one piece at a time. The face varies across a run.

  • Color Through the Body

Color is cast through the body, not applied to the face. A cut edge reads the same as the surface.

  • Locally Sourced

Made in Southern California with abundant and renewable locally sourced materials.

  • Custom Work

Custom colors, custom shapes and custom color matches are developed on request. We run a sample before any production commitment.

Applications

  • Walls
  • Floors
  • Indoor
  • Outdoor

Floors applies to the Echo Series only. The other three families are for walls.

Material truth

A wall that holds the light

Every family here is a modelled or an engraved face, and the reason to specify any of them over a flat tile is what happens across that face as the light moves. Roman 3D Impressions is a Roman product. Floways, M3LD and the Echo Series stand on their own.

Rustic Elegance is not a marketing phrase. It is a material truth. Far from perfect, and that is the whole point.
