The Story
At this Cedars-Sinai urgent care at Hillhurst in Los Angeles, the ground floor is wrapped in custom 3D concrete cladding made by ARTO. The panels carry a raised, maze-like pattern of interlocking squares and bars in a soft sage green, set below a dark metal upper floor and large windows. Along the street the relief gives the long wall depth and rhythm, catching sun and shadow through the day. The same panels continue around the parking entry and into the elevator lobby, where they frame the stainless doors and the stair door. Up close, each piece shows crisp raised edges and the gentle variation of handcrafted concrete.
