Buena Vida Community, Brea

At this planned community in Brea, handpainted tile brings color to the shared spaces. Patterned deco tiles set into white stucco pillars and low garden walls line the walking trails, and a deco tile band trims the bench seating. Around the pool, small accent tiles sit along the waterline, while larger panels of blue and white handpainted tile cover an outdoor shower, a garden wall and the backsplash of an outdoor kitchen. Arched entries to the residences are framed in green and orange deco borders. Under the covered porches, the floor is ARTO's Studio ceramic tile, 12x12, in a Leather glaze, with warm brown and rust tones that shift from tile to tile and set off the timber ceilings and white columns.
